Cant belive the way some people treat their dogs, how could you get rid of a dog because it is sick???????
Fingers crossed she gets the wonderfull home she deserves!!
Oh bless her, I hope she makes a good recovery.
I have only seen external fixators on people, never on animals. I must admit, they give me the heeby jeebies, I just imagine them getting caught on something...... luckily animals dont worry about that sort of thing, just people who have had far too many knee ops and broken bones!

Just hope they dont ever have children...wpuld they get rid of that because it got sick too?
Yes vets can be expensive, but isnt that why we buy insurance?
Why take on a dog if you are not prepared to look after in-good times and bad.

Poor poor baby doll...............beautiful and glad she has now got a loving home with yourself...................I HATE PEOPLE WHO ARE CRUEL TO ANIMALS!!!! Sending lots of healing vibes her way.........
My OH had a fixator when his leg was broken by a labrador
a few years ago, the loose dog attacked our springer bitch who was in season and on a lead and in her panic to get away hid behind OH and the dog slammed into him and broke his patella. He was in hospital for 3 weeks, in plaster for 12 and the dogs owner got off scot free
