My instructor tells me that as of 1st December we all have to wear light coloured gloves for BD? Yikes!
Just wondered if anyone had any good beige gloves they could recommend? I have a brown hacking jacket so guessing beige would be correct rather than white?

I've just ordered a pair of roekl gloves for this very reason. I was tempted by their "chamois" coloured ones but as "light coloured" is probably open to interpretation I ordered a cream pair instead to go with my tweed jacket. I know both rideaway and derby house stock them.

Gummybear, at the moment I use the same kit I did for eventing and have a burgundy stock - do you think thats OK?
Cbajjd, I was looking at the roeckl ones in the tack shop the other day, the cream ones were the ones I was thinking of getting but agree, the chamois are nice! Would be worried I might get pulled up on them!

does this apply to unaff dressage??

[/ QUOTE ] If schedule says 'run under BD rules' then yes, but some unaffiliated venues might not be so strict, but you can't count on it!

I got some at the weekend because of this stupid rule.

I always wear my tweed and have a blue/white spots stock so that's obviously too dark. Apparently beige or tan colour is correct with tweed so i got some really nice Ariat ones which are cream (dark cream) on the back and tan on the palms. I really like them to ride in and on sunday i did dressage in an absolute monsoon and they were still fab. Definitely recommend them....thing the were £22
