New Bitless Bridle

I am looking to treat BB to a new bridle, looking for a sidepull bridle with no cross over under chin.

I already have a Micklem and just fancy a wee change as I never need much more control than a headcollar anyway

No rope ones though…, any ideas?

Have a look at the Nalanta bridle (Jesse Drent’s). Also, I recently bought a barefoot bridle which you can buy a nose and and two different styles of hackamore pieces for it. Transcend are lovely quality and you can either go sidepull or double.

Lightrider is surprisingly nice for the money and you can remove the chinstrap to just make it a sidepull, I do like the integrated noseband.

I do like the look but I want away from the chinstrap I think even though its not tight.

I have to say that I didn't realise Jesse had his own tack range, but I also love him and think he's fabulous with his animals. I admire him for just doing his own thing regardless and always putting the horse first, breath of fresh air!

He honestly is, i love watching him, I quite like Matt Harnake too. £25 to be posted from NL isnt too bad

See Matt I can't bring myself to like, I think it's a bit too contrived for me albeit he does nothing outrageously bad. Kept titling his videos 'HUGE STALLION' regardless of how much involvement the horse had in it... got to do what you've got to do to get views/money I suppose. Have you seen the guy that's taken on his Stallion that he broke? His name escapes me, seems he's having a great time rehabbing him.

See Matt I can't bring myself to like, I think it's a bit too contrived for me albeit he does nothing outrageously bad. Kept titling his videos 'HUGE STALLION' regardless of how much involvement the horse had in it... got to do what you've got to do to get views/money I suppose. I admit hes not as nice as jesse, no? I havent seen him. Theres just something really kind about jesse… the way jesse and matt are I wondered if they were partners or just besties?
The way jessie just rides bareback with the neckrope is just phenomenal

I love Jesse I aim to ride like him someday
Matt seems more focused on high level dressage which has its own problems at the moment which makes me like him a bit less but he seems to try to do his best and just gets awful advice from his vets

Problem with Matt is that he liked big horses, which aren't always sound horses, he also likes high level dressage which also doesn't lend itself to soundness. He can't have an unrideable horse as he looses his ability to make content which most likely forms a large part of his income, so he just has to keep shipping them through and then when they break getting another one. I also just saw, when searching for that video above, his recent video called 'new sales horse' so maybe he's now importing, training and selling? Interesting..

I would love to have half as good an understanding of horses as Jesse (and the riding ability!)

Awww definitely, you can see from jesse that he loves his horses, just even by the expressions on his face, hes brilliant to watch. makes me want to do liberty with BB
