The time came when i need new boots, this time is not because of them splitting, or being in bad condition etc, its actualy because my calf has grown too big and the boots don't zip up fully anymore :( Hopefully i can talk parents into buying me everyday ones and competition ones so here's 2 lists and please reccomend me one from each list.
Internet cookies and hot chocolate for everyone who helps :D
Thank you!! :D

Everyday (something that will last a while, my current ones i've been riding in everyday and competing for 3 years so prefebly something similar, hacking, jumping, schooling and xc. i do change into wellies around yard and field etc so they will only be used in the saddle)

Dublin Zenith
HKM 'FUTURE' RIDING BOOTS <really like the look of them and the price but just how durable and comfotable are they?
these are the only 2 that i like for everyday, but if you have any other suggestions then they're welcome, around the £100 mark please.

Competition:
Brogini
Dublin On Air Stretch Field Riding Boots
Ariat Bromont
Ariat Volant (i wish, these are really out of budget! but they're lovely)
Again, any other suggestions?

Thank you! :D :D :D

Sorry, I have no suggestions as I am in the same boat having had my last pair of harry hall everyday long boots for 10 years!!! I think Toggi now make similar ones.

I'm off to Badders to see if I can bag a bargain. I live down the road :D

I love love love my Ariat Bromonts. I have the unlined ones, which I wear all year round. I swore when I got them that I'd keep them just for 'occasions' but they really improved my leg and stability, and now I wear them for everything. You can get a good price if you look around.

i second the ariat bromonts love! i have the winter lined ones, not too hot in summer but can wear thin socks under them in winter and not lose the feeling in my toes :) i also found they are really supportive for my lower leg position. well worth the money imo

*cough* *splutter* *choke*

£200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my second pair of ariat bromonts, I adore them!

I can honestly say I don't see what the whole Brogini fad is about...
They are awful! The leather is horrible, they are soooo stiff, they hurt really bad... I've had a pair for comps and I actually can't ware them anymore... they are just so uncomfy... I'm trying to get rid of mine now....

I also found for a wider calf they ended up looking awful too... They made my feet look huge and long and my calf look farrrr bigger than it actually is

Minor rant there... sorry :p

I'd definitely recommend Ariat Bromont, I bought a pair around 3 years ago just for competition purposes and they've slowly creeped into my everyday riding!! They're an amazing boot and mine are still going strong. I have the thermal intex ones which are great for the winter but can get abit sweaty in the summer! I'll be so sad when these boots eventually die on me, they're like an old slipper! Once you've had a pair you won't want to go back to anything else. Gives you great leg contact with the horse because of the suede lining on the inside of the boot! Go for it! Kerrr-chinggg
