New born foal abandoned

Just read about this on H&H news. Why would somone do that, it's just totally heartless and cruel.

He's now being cared for at a rescue centre, the staff have fallen in love him him, they're feeding every two hours and he's been stood up.

If only I were closer, my mare lost her foal last night and she is still upset. She has so much milk too. life is cruel at times!
