New boy feeling a bit TOO well!

Alf seems to be feeling the effects of some good grass, a bit of a holiday, and a decent joint supplement. He's been snorting like a firebreathing dragon, and spooking at silly things for the last few days - and today, he had a roll, got up, walked towards me, then jumped into trot, propped in front of me, spun round and bounced off down the field like a spring lamb! I happened to be videoing him at the time - so got it all on camera, except for the bit where I thought he was going to land on my head (too busy running away to keep the camera still)

He's going to find his holiday cut a bit short if he carries on!!

He was a BIT close for comfort! No flying feet though, so I forgave him. He will be feeling a sharp blue pipe related pain on his bottom if he makes a habit of it though! I think he wanted to play, and with no other horses around, he thought I might be up for it!

Yes - for a horse who last week was "really quite stiff through the stifles", when he saw the physio!!
