new bridle, what to do?

Well my new stubben 3000 bridle arrived today, total bargin well done derby house!! anyway i would like to keep it in great condition so do i clean it or oil it? any tips please

Use a leather feed such as Effax Leather Balsam or Hamanol. Hamanol is Stubbens own product.

I have been told by a stubben retailer only to use stubben cleaning products ie Hamanol. Stubben leather should not be oiled and if you have a problem with an item they do send it for testing, if it has been oiled it is not warrented. Not sure how ture this is but do like Hamanol so not a prob to me!

Any good quality saddle soap should be fine but i recommend effax as it is v good

Just take it apart and oil it loads of times over a few days, that will keep it supple. Then obv use saddle soap and oil when required in the future
