New Bridlepaths - seen this?

Fantastic news, it's not far away from me at all!!! When I manage to find myself a new horse it's my intention to take off for Wales on a self planned riding adventure so these bridleways may well be the first on my journey.

well it isn't just one bridleway, it is 35 miles of bridlepath and I don't think they are confirmed as open yet, just in the planning stage. Or the more PC name is MU for multi-user, which is what bridlepaths are.

We have NO bridle paths that are easily accessible near us 
I LOVE hacking, and instead, have to cope with popping down the lane every now and then, but then turn and head back for home before you get to the main road at the end
It's a mile round trip 
We have been on the main road a couple of times, but it's not really worth it, as at the end of the main road is a busy villiage, then back down the main road to go home!
We are in the "process" of asking one of the farmers at the end of our lane if we can "use" the edge of his field to walk along. If we do this, we end up fairly close to a bridle path, with only a small bit of road work. I have no idea if the bridle path is any good though... I'll keep my fingers crossed it'll be worth it!!!

Why not park up nearby and walk along the bridlepath?
I take my dog for long walks along stretches of bridlepaths I haven't done before to check gates are passable etc.

Good idea!! I will defo check it out before we attempt to get there on horse back! ...I hope the farmer comes through for us!!

Our bridlepath association has arranged parking in farmer's yards, livery yards, private yards, etc. near to bridlepaths for members.
Don't know how the Chairman had the courage, but most people said yes.
