Having just walked past a tree adorned with poobags,(the poo bin is only yards away) I am pondering a gap in the market, and am considering designing and manufacturing seasonal poo bags. This will particularly be of benefit over Christmas as the trees will then look very pretty with their Christmassy poo bags, what do you think
 
How about printing them with the owner's phone number? That way people who leave their bags hanging in trees can get a phone call telling them what lazy ****ers they are.

Ha - this.

Yeah, I think you'd do better asking for donations to go and pick the bags from the trees. By selling them to look pretty in trees, people would have to admit to being that lazy assss person that flings them and they won't do that.

Pretty poo bags yes....pretty poo bags to make trees look pretty, not going work I don't think.

Although, I wouldn't be surprised if it is dog owners who picks up their dog's poo, and then throws the bag up in the closest tree, I've also heard of another explanation. I've heard that in some areas, birds from the crow family is suspected for being the cause behind poo bags hanging in trees, or left lying on the ground close to a poo bin.
So maybe, it is birds who picks the bags up, flies to a nearby tree to investigate their "catch", and when they lose interest, the poo bags is either left hanging in the tree or falls down to the ground.

Like baubles on the tree? I'm just after ordering a photo bauble: maybe you could make big plastic containers with the dog's picture on...?
 
Love the idea… but why not cut out the middle man and just market a seasonal sparkly tinsel-like dog food additive that will twinkle away whether in a bag / on a tree or just left in the middle of the road as seems to be so fashionable nowadays too…. ;)
