New dog photos

We lost our Rottweiler Max to cancer several weeks ago at the age of 5, leaving our other Rottie, Roxy, on her own. I have been trying to get my heart high enough to go through the expense of a puppy while keeping an eye out for older dogs. They go so quickly though!

I finally found one only half an hour away, a 5 year old Rottie x black lab, and we picked him up today. We have been on a walk this afternoon. Roxy is very pleased with him. He is a very odd looking creature though! Lab head on a Rottie body with Rottie markings.

I meant to say, expense and HARD WORK of a puppy! The hard work is worse than the expense. All the cleaning up of accidents and the dreaded chewing phase!

when i was young black and tan mixed breed dogs were all there seemed to be.we had 2.... i have a soft spot for black and tans of any breed and he has a lovely expression, looks very soft...
