No photos yet, but will put some up later once he's home.

Today we're picking up a ten month old mongrel from Dogs Trust, they've called him Arc but we'll be renaming him as Archie. He's definitely got some terrier in him, but other than that we don't have a clue, he's one of the strays that they've had over from Ireland.

Archie will be the youngest dog that we've ever had and he's incredibly boisterous but really really affectionate and we're all looking forward to having him home!!

So excited!!! :D

Here he is!! Current guesses for breeds in there are bearded collie, german shepherd and some kind of terrier - any suggestions are welcome!!

He's lovely! I would say gsd x patterdale x collie, maybe some cairn terrir in there too.
Whatever breed he looks great, a real character.

Looks a character :) hope he settles in well. I've got two rescues a GSP who does not seem to realise he's now 60 lbs and shouldn't be jumping up anymore and teeny 17" 6 month bitch pup who looks like a saluki and wants to be a lap dog.

I'm another who can't see GS but whatever he is entirely gorgeous, just my kind of cutie :). Hope he settles in well and let us know his progress - with pics. of course!

Thanks everyone :) DT had called him Arc, but we weren't mad keen on that!I think it's the hind legs as well as the ears that made them think he has GSD in him, but he doesn't stand still for long enough to get a good photo! He's currently wearing a DAP collar and we're going to get a second one as this one will run out shortly and we'd like to keep him as calm as possible for the first week or two. He's very bouncy and fun, and I'm sure that unless our circumstances change dramatically, he'll have a home for life here :)
