Just got back from your horse live and watched the dressage to music clinic ,which was lovely , and it was said that BD are going to split the Novice into rest. and open and do prelim.WHEN ,does anyone know about this?

Carl Hestor was amazing, really amazing and made it look so easy, and we all know how easy it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where do you get that stuff to do the stensils on their quarters, Beverly had 3 musical notes, looked great.
Bought bling stock from morgan equine.Its all down hill from now on
 
I saw their stocks at HOYS, they are lovely ! My friend bought me a cream patterned one but needless to say I wont get it till Xmas..
 
LOL I bought bling ones too..... I believe Bannanman had a lovely one on and I remember asking her where she got it from!!!!! Twas not bling though, it was fetching though and different.

Troi did mention that there would be some new things happening with dressage to music.......
 
I am going tomorrow... I can't wait!!!

What horses did Carl use?

I am really looking forwards to the Dressage to music demo, hoping to pick up some tips on where on earth to start off

Ah well, seeing as it was made public at YH Live, nearly right - there are no plans to bring in Prelim music, but ....

As there is room for extra classes at Hartpury in the indoor arena, the Novice and Elementary music classes will have both Open and Restricted sections.

The split will be done at the Regionals, which will be run as a single class, but qualifications awarded to the top placed Open and Restricted riders.

There should be a news item in the upcoming BD magazine explaining it.

I am definitely on the hunt for the bling stock... I have been looking for one for ages without much success

Carl had 2 youngsters in the morning - Valegro who is just jaw-droppingly amazing and i cant remember the other one. He had Dolendo in the afternoon.

will they think about doing it at medium level as well in the future?

Give us restricted a chance but don't knock us out of doing anything next year IF we get through.

yea thats true carthorse...its not actually all good cos if anyone does manage to get thru i think that knocks them out of the senior inter regionals

the BD senior inter regionals take place at the college and its a team competition but there are also prizes for individuals too. you represent your region and last year it ran from prelim to elementary level. i think it may do medium too this year but i am not sure. it runs over a weekend and is great fun
