NEW EVENT SEASON COMING UP AND NO RIDER!!!!

Ros Canter in Lincolnshire. She's small, hasn't got a vast number of horses. Lovely yard run by her & her mum. Horses get turn out every day.

Seconded - she's especially good with producing young horses and all of her horses always look very happy and well looked after. You'd be hard pushed to find someone with a better record at BE100/N. Can vouch for the turnout as well!

I'd definitely look at Alex Postolowsky, she has a good reputation and when I saw her ride she was very nice and stylish.

Alex is tiny, but despite this has done a fab job with some very strong, quirky horses. The horse she took round Bramham last year (unfortunately came a cropper at the coffin, but I don't think there was anything she could have done) has never been easy.

Only downside is that they are both in Lincolnshire! Not sure how much either charge however.

Ros Canter is very reasonable for the service that she provides - but she is a professional and there is a charge for that. If you're happy for a professional to produce then I have no qualms whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending her. I researched professionals extensively before choosing her to send my young horse to and am delighted with the experience so far.

If you don't want to pay professional fees then I agree with posters recommending contacting your local PC DC and asking if there is anyone in need of a ride for the season that they would recommend.

Like Thistle though, I have found the only dependable help is that which you pay for.
