Looking for some advice. I’ve used the same farrier for 30 years and he retired and have now had a new farrier three times. The kids ponies were all very uncomfortable but not lame after last visit and four weeks later they still look very short. Larger pony he has made a lot more upright position, now turning away from me when I arrive with tack, unwilling to go forward normally and hesitant and slow going down hills. Farrier seems to rasp a lot off front of hoof and leave shoes look too long. Any advice most welcome

If all horses are sore, I would find another, unless the farrier had advised that they may be a bit sore because of any corrective shoeing he had to do - pie in the sky really, I would still look at finding another
