Not exactly a difficult guess....

Filly born 3.30 am yesterday - pics taken yesterday so legs still a bit wonky and eyes not quite open:

Do we think this sire is stamping his stock?

Another identi-kit Tobagoling!!

Has he thrown any colour other than chestnut? (not that the chestnut ones aren't beautiful cos they are!! Just wondered)

She looks to have all the attitude that her half siblings have displayed too!

Thanks everyone!

LOL Three! So far most of the Tobagolings have been chestnut - but then they are mostly from chestnut mares! He has also had one chestnut foal from a bay mare, a bay foal from a bay mare and a bay foal from a grey mare.

There will be more chestnut foals to come, as he had a lot of chestnut mares last year, but there should also be some other colours - including 2 palominos from cremello mares...

The 'attitude' seems to be a consistent feature of the Tobago-babies - they all start showing off almost from the minute they hit the ground!

Ambassador (see previous threads) is the boldest of them all - just had an email from his breeder saying he won't even stay in the same field as his mother - he keeps escaping and galloping off exploring on his own. Totally fearless and insatiably curious!

Glad you took my meaning of 'attitude' the right way!! It was meant as a compliment!! They are all soooo gorgeous.

Looking forward to the rest of the crop!

I absolutely adore all the photos of Tobago's stock he really does stamp them all. BUT I dont like that dog in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate this is from Belgium & most of mainland Europe let there blasted dogs do what they want. I just really dont like to see that type of dog so close to a new foal.

LOL! Among Arab breeders the term 'attitude' is short for 'show attitude' and is always a compliment, so I keep forgetting that it can also imply 'juvenile delinquent'!!

Oh Gosh - sorry - I don't even know what breed of dog this is? Are they bad? I know this breeder is very experienced and safety-conscious, so I'm sure she wouldn't allow anything dangerous near her foals!

Just a bit! But I am sure that is what your mare owners were hoping for.......

She is very pretty

Yes, they all wanted something as much like Tobago as possible...but a friend did say to me the other day, on seeing yet another identikit Tobagoling, "Do explain to your horse that a good stallion is supposed to STAMP his stock, not CLONE them!"
