NEW Fleece boots - anyone tried them?

I have the tendon boots and find them pretty good for jumping on a surface as the fleece stops the sand getting up inside the boot. I wouldn't have gone for fleece lining really though, I chose them because I couldn't find any other boots to fit my mare at the time. Mine are a few years old and have a 'woven' fabric outer - I think the new versions have that weird fake leather stuff on the outside now.

I'm happy enough with mine, they fit well and have worn well - the only annoying thing is that the straps aren't elasticated at all.

Many thanks for all the info. The non elastic is good....well for my Horse anyway. He has sensitive skin and the elastic seems to nip. I wouldn't go for fleece lined plastic ones as I'm sure they would be too hot. These ones looked a bit more breathable with good tendon guards.

I have the fleece brushing boots and the max performance boots and find they are all great. You have to make sure you do the straps up quite tight so they dont slip down - theres no elastic so you cant really over tighten them

The problem I find is that the bottom strap is difficult to do up 'square' as she has quite short cannons so the leg is starting to widen where the bottom strap is - they could do with a bit of give to get even pressure under the strap for her.

TBH I haven't noticed any particular heating with them. I have been schooling in them recently as my normal brushing boots are worn out, and they seem fine. I have used some clarendons on her hinds which do seem to be noticeably warmer - I think the NEW fleece is different stuff and I don't think it makes much difference compared to, say, normal neoprene boots.
