New Forest Owners.....

<font color="blue"> I have recently bought my 13yr old full up 13.2hh chunky NF mare an Amigo middle weight turnout rug, which is WAY to small across the chest/shoulders. She does have an Amigo summer turnout which fits fine - yet both 5'6.

She has had Masta before, which seem to fit well.
Also William Funnell (although a bit tight across her chest).

What rugs do you find fit your NF well?

Weatherbeeta and Saxon fit NF's exceptionally well. We use Saxons on everything from the youngsters to the stallions and never had one leak or rub.

I had the same problem with amigo and now use GFS plenty of room round the chest I have a 5ft9 for my forester but he is little bigger at 14h. The only thing is he looks like he is wearing a skirt as they are quite long.

Agree with Charlie, Saxon rugs fit our 12.3hh NF very well,
he's in 5ft 6 ones!

One of mine is a chunky 13.2hh NF, and he is in either a Fal 5`9"or a Weatherbeeta Landa 5`6".

Kingshead rugs fit beautifully....as do Saxon.

Definately Weatherbeeta for NFs. Depending on the build they can be anything from a 5'3" to 5'6" for a 13.2hh

Mandk, the're about the same size, he's just very very long!
I could get away with a 5ft 3 one but they rub around his shoulders.
