New Forest Pony Experts needed!!

Hello,
I purchased a NF X from the last BR Sales and have just recieved his passport today. I was just wondering if any of you new forest experts etc have ever heard of his sire (his dam is unregistered)
His sires name is Moortown Nobby and his grandsire was Merrie Marshman.

Im planning on writing to the breeder to find out more about his dam as I would like to find out as much as poss

My old boy was a Merrie (sire Merrie Mastterpieces, Dam's sire Merrie Marmalade)

Totally incredible pony. would jump the earth, did EVERYTHING, bombproof, my best friend, fun incredible pony.

My boy is by Masterpiece too. But I wouldn't say he's bomb proof, probably because he's not related to Marmalade! Marmalade is still going strong at the age of 32
