New Forest stallion recommendations

What is your mare like and what are you hoping to do with the foal? I've used Wayland Cranberry with success but not AI.

If you contact the breed society they maybe able to tell you which stallion is available AI. Wealth of stallion info on this great site http://nfstallions.info/

We deal with a lovely roan New forest called Yewtree Vimy Ridge that is owned by some friends of our.
He competes dressage.
Lovely boy with a lovely temp and available AI
All mares in foal to 1 insemination so far

Thanks both. This is actually for a friend's mare. She is a new forest and 14.1hh. She is very nicely put together and has a lovely temperament as well as being pretty much bombproof. Aim is a good all rounder and owner would want to keep for life. The mare herself has done some dressage, low level jumping, some trec and some non serious endurance. She is a proper family pony so gets ridden by mum, daughter and niece.

The hope is to find a stallion with a good temperament and also to make it easy on the mare as this will be her one and only foal.

Willoway Free Spirit is a beautiful easy stallion. He has qualified for HOYS on the flat & workers multiple times & RI too. He also hunts and is a genuinely lovely pony.
He is a little under the height you wanted but his track record of being a fabulous alrounder as well as a stunning example of a NF pony beats many stallions offered out there in my opinion :) Plus he is available for AI

If you are on facebook try asking in new forest pony people group.

Without knowing the breeding of the mare in question people may not be able to give a sensible option as you won't want a stallion that is closely related to the mare.

Sabine Andree Parsons may be worth contacting. She's on FB. She lost Peveril Peterborough last year, but has another oldie who is still qualifying for RIHS in workers. I think he's a stallion, but she may well have something else or know of something. Hers are out and out performers under saddle.
