As you can see he is a Freisian, dare I say he is....Unregistered! I spoke to the British Freisian Society before buying him and did my research.

The side on shot is rubbish, but I do not have any more pictures of him at the mo.

He is very friendly, very intelligent, I have had him 5 weeks now and havent taken any pics! rubbish! been too busy playing with him and showing him the world. Not backing him til next year, thoroughly enjoying our groundwork though!

He still has plenty of growing to do....still in the gangly big head phase!

:) he he! I have to say he already looks different! I must get more pictures...was going to get camera out tomo but its going to rain! :(

Glad you like him...it was a private sale, the chap had to downsize and the other horses he had were suitable for his daughter (she likes cross country) hence the friesian had to go (lucky me!)

Have kept in touch with the chap, he has been very helpful.

If you like Fresians then I was told that the best people to speak to would be the British Freisian Society. There is a lot you would want to know before buying one! I spent ages researching the breed.

I did not want to import one at 3+ and was not willing to take on a foal as my livery bills are HUGE!

Thank you...so glad to have him at the end of his baby phase, he does have a lot of growing to do, we are running a book on how big he is going to be...my best guess is 16.3....good job I am tall!

He is very babyish, desperate for cuddles and luckily everyone in the yard likes to oblige!

Lovely! And thank you for including photos :)

By the way: it's definitely spelt 'Friesian' - not fresian or freisian.

It's funny. I've been looking for a foal as I was working out that when it's old enough to ride my current boy will be winding down. Nice gentle poddling around his field mainly. I'd love to try and break one in or at least be involved in the process but you've got to think in terms of life times when you consider buying horses and if I do get a foal I'll be a right old fart by the time it is looking to its retirement!:eek:So i need to do it soonish! :D I haven't seen many advertised tho.

OOPS....I do know this...I am slightly dyslexic (not joking) I cant believe I did that....more than once :D:D

<g>

I just thought you might be confused, and covering all your bases :p

Looking forward to hearing more updates *with* photos, naturally!
