I took the plunge and bought myself a new girlie the other day! She is a 12.2hh Sec B type 4year old. Very sweet and kind, moves like a dream! She will probably have a couple of foals when she has been broken to drive and done some shows etc. What do you think of her, and how much would you pay? I know she has a neck and belly on her at the mo, she has been turned away on lush grazing for several months before I got her on Sunday, she is now on a bare postage stamp and the tummy is going down!! The vet came today and was happy with her, so Im not concerned! Her feet are being done on Sat, so again, they will be taken care of. Thanks all!!

Good to hear you're managing things already.

Looks very cute, bet she'll look even better (and feel it too) when some of that weights shifted...keep us updated!

Thanks for all the lovely comments! She is a really sweet girl! Herr passport shows no known breeding of dam or sire, but Im hoping to trace an old owner via her passport issuing society (BPS)as the person I bought her off hadnt changed the registered keepers name to theirs...Its all a bit complicated! lol! She has been sold with a consession covering to Greenbarrow Mr Smee, whos sire is Rothwood Peter Pan, so Im sure to have a nice foal out of her next year.
She has been backed and ridden away, but then turned away through lack of time, so she is very green but Im quite enjoying going back to basics!
Her belly is going down daily, so Im hoping that once I start working her, it will shrink further! I was assured she hasnt run with colts or stallions, and from her bag Im inclined to believe it...just a youngster with a grass belly! My big girl (Fell type in my sig) isnt a happy girlie...a bit jealous at the moment....Oh well!!! xx
