Hey,
I was schooling my horse this morning in the indoor school at the yard. Had just started cantering when she tripped and fell onto her front knees. As she regained her balance and pulled herself up I was 'catapulted' out of the saddle and fell to the ground a few feet away from where she had stopped.
Neither of us seem to be injured, just a little stiff if anything! However, I landed on my head and did a sort of forward roll - like I said there are no serious injuries, and the flooring in the arena is rubber, but I'm aware you should replace hats after serious impact.
Would you consider this to be serious enough to have to buy a new hat?
