New Hat... But which one?

I have about £100 to spend on a new hat and there is so much choice, I like the Charles Owen Pro - just cause its pink... But a friend tells me her GR8 is the most comfortable hat she has ever worn advice please

I recently got a Harry Hall Elite Plus which is great and really comfortable for me. I have a large and stupidly shaped head but I like this hat and it looks quite nice too.

It is only around half your budget though so perhaps you are looking for something better.

Thanks for the advice will try that one, I only happy hack but came off recently and so now I make sure that the safety gear I buy is the best I can afford.

Probably go try a load of different ones on, and see which fit and look the best!

You need to be looking for the kitemark and safety standard-some PAS hats are cheap and under £40 while some BSEN are well over £150,the price does not indicate how safe it is.

I would go to a tack shop with a decent range,give them your budget and ask their advic on which style will fit best.

As others have said it depends on your head, I liked the champoin ventair, but when I tried it it wouldn't fit my head at all. Apparently I have an oblong head rather than round! I went for the Charles Owen Pro II and I love it, very comfy and no more sweaty helmet hair!!

Love my Champion Ventair hat, so much so I bought a replacement one recently. Very comfortable and smart and up to British Safety standards.
