Hi I am new here, I joined because I am going to be traveling in Europe/and a few other places to take photos of horses. I will be coming there early next spring.

I was wondering if people could let me know of some big horse farms/breeders that wouldn't mind a visitor to take photos of their horses and facilities. I am an amateur photographer and am compiling a photo notebook of different horses along my travels for a table book I am going to have published.

Please respond in this thread if you can suggest anyone. This is going to cover all breeds and disciplines.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post!

Cheers!!!

If you come to Holland you can photograph our rare colour fjord on the beach or in the woods. We also have a flea biiten grey KWPN and her foal.
There are also about 30 other horses or varying sizes and colours on the yard.
Try also the following stud - www.vanuytert.nl They have a wide range of stallions and other horses and I don't think they would mind you photographing them. They are very friendly!

Thank you all so much, I will traveling extensively through Europe, but will be spending most of the time in the UK/Ireland/Scotland.

I also failed to mention that there will be a short verbal interview about your horse breed(s) your farm and future breeding goals (if any)

Thank you all for the replies, I will keep in touch on these forums!

It might be an idea to contact the breed societies, I'm sure most of them will have a breeder who will be happy to help out!

The Fell pony society also has herds of ponies that roam the hills of Cumbria and are lovely to see in their natural state. It sounds a very interesting project, good luck with it!
