New here would appreciate some advice!! on a pony!

Hi there i always read these boards but am a new poster!! some people had mentioned seehorsevides www.seehorsevideos.co.uk im interested in one on then for my daughter a little one called ellie, would appreciate in what you thought of her?? Its always good to get second opionions etc xxx

Hi, welcome to the forum. It is hard to comment on how suitable this pony would be without knowing a bit more about your daughter and what you would want the pony to do. My thought is that the rider is very big for her and maybe she is quite a handful, just because something is a lead rein pony does not make it a good first pony necessarily. Our own pony is doing really well in lead rein classes with a 5 year old on her, however my 19 year old daughter took her in a veteran class and she tanked off with her!
 
There is not much information about her unless I am looking in the wrong bit, it is a pity that she is covered in saddle cloth so cannot really get to see what she is really about.

Worth enquiring about I guess.

I think she looks quite nice, I would imagine at 12.2 they maybe havent got a small person to ride her so I wouldnt worry too much about that. Have no experience of them in general though, maybe best to wait and see if anyone here knows someone who has bought from them

Well how old is your daughter and are you looking for a lead rein pony? It states that Ellie has mainly been ridden by experienced riders (obviously) not normally used as lead rein then!. If your daughter is experienced and done showing before (not on a lead rein) then it may be worth a look. I think we need more info on your daughters capabilities before we could make any sort of judgement.
 
Welcome - Have you tried looking on PC website or contacting your local branch? That way you can often get references from a PC instructor or the DC. I havent had any dealings with this yard, I would be interested to hear if anyone else has because they are not too far from me. Good luck with your search
