New horse... and big thanks.. :-)

I posted on here a while ago after giving up looking for a horse... and was contacted by a member on here... I was origionally looking for a 14'2 - 15'3 cobby type...

and ended up with the most sweet gentle 16h Tb.. and would like to say a HUGE thankyou to that person.. Ive had him almost 2 weeks and he is perfect, such a gentleman, calm and everything I was looking for! Im so glad i didnt listen to people who tried to put me off tbs...especially ex racers we are looking forward to a long happy life together

I hate it when people say "Don't buy that horse because of its breed" there is good and bad in EVERY breed and if the horse suits your needs, sod what breed it is

I have lots of plans but starting with one day at a time ... then when hes fit we will go from there Hes my first horse (owned) and im in no rush to do everything all at once..

You sound exactly like me 7 months ago!! My childhood dream to own my own finally came true at age 27!

I was forced to take it slowly, as i tore a ligament in my ankle just before i got him, and horsie was weak and underweight when i got him...but the slow start was actually the best thing as we got to know each other, went on walks, did in hand stuff. And i think weve developed quite a strong bond, for only having known each other a short time! Consistency and lots of love and you'll go far!

Best of luck with him and all that you do. I hope you enjoy each and every day with him! Oh but be warned -we all do love lots of updates on here!! xx
