Can't describe how much I already love Murphy! He is the nicest horse I've ever met let alone had the pleasure to own! He is very sweet natured and friendly, when I go the field he whinnies and come trotting over then if you run around in the field here follows you :D I know my riding he is terrible, I think today was a lot better. I've changed his tack from a phelam, hunting breast plate and flash. To basic snaffle no flash or hunting breatplate, just to see how he went. At first he enjoyed sticking his head in the air n playing with his mouth, but after a while the novelty wore off and he was trotting around in lovely long low outline nice and freely. Didn't do to much as he isn't fit and it was so hot I got tan lines from my riding gloves! I took my stirrups away to to try and get my postion improved. I will be getting lots of lessons and getting him fitter, then have a go at some local comps, I've been told he'd do a great working hunter but I know nothing about it!

Anyway, hope you all like him!

Thank you everyone, glad you all like him too!! Don't know about a home for life I would love to keep him forever but I will probably be going to uni if a few years time :S Will have to get my mum riding again and perswade her that she will need him to ride!!

He is IDxTB just turned 10, 16.3 been in a hunting home for the past four years but was a riding club horse before that, perfect in every way!. He has been in and out of work for a while so want to get him nice and fit and improve his schooling. Then hopefully some local shows, unaffiliated stuff maybe have a go at BS and have a go at working hunter! Really looking forward to summer now!

Wow he is a stunner and I love the matchy matchy!! You look great together, he has lovely paces, you gonna do any dressage on him?

He's lovely , great vid and i love the matchy matchy , I take it you keep him on his own and he looks so settled my boy would go into a flat spin if he was on his own - i guess your boy must be used to it?

Gorgeous! And just look at those lovely even white legs, he'll look a cracker in the dressage ring with legs like that! :D

thanks again :D I haven't done dressage since I was about 7 o_O But I was thinking about having a go at a couple of unaffilated things with him, was thinking about doing a premlim 18 in a couple of weeks?
paddy irish- He was by himself for the first day we had him as we hadn't managed to pick up his field mate yet but he has company know thought it would be nicer for him. I was quite suprised by how calm he was too! My last horse would jump out of the field if you left her by herself :S thanks again for all the lovely comments (:

Prelim 18 would be great to do, not too demanding for a new combination and easy enough test to remember!

The reason I mentioned the dressage is you looked really good on him in sitting trot and he really does have lovely movement. Plus, with the matchy matchy... add a nice show jacket and white stock and breeches on you... that'll look awesome!! :D

I really look forward to seeing how you get on and of course MORE VIDEOS AND PICS!:D:D

Okay I think I might have to find an entry form and dust of my show things! Will try and get another vid in a few days, he was a dream to ride today!! Thanks for the advice, I will keep you guys posted on how we get on :D:D
