It's a bit premature seeing as there's the rest of today, all of Saturday and Sunday and most of Monday before she arrives, but I'm getting stupidly excited because our new horse, Daisy, is coming home to ours on Monday :D

Here she is the day we bought her:

And this is her at the yard where she is currently:

I can't wait to meet her properly, the day we bought her I was rushed off my feet as we were selling two horses and I was also working in the sales office, but my dad spent ages with her checking her over and walking her up and down. We're all really excited about her coming home and meeting the other two :D

Will hopefully be able to post pictures next week of Daisy's first few days at her new home!

Thankfully I'm going away to Manchester tomorrow afternoon and not coming back until Sunday night, so I'm hoping that by being away from home and being busy I won't get too impatient! My dad on the other hand has just finished putting up new post and rail fencing on our yard to make a new paddock for her, now that's finished I don't know what he's going to do to keep himself occupied!

We're hoping to race her next summer, she's a Standardbred pacer. In the past we've bred a couple to race, but we've taken a break from breeding and then dad fell in love with this fiery little lady so we ended up buying her!

ooo she's pretty! Its going to be a long weekend waiting for you!!!! good luck with her :)

Thank you :) I might have to keep everyone updated with the ups and downs of having a racehorse!

Pretty little lady :)

She is, isn't she?! Quite a fiery girl by the sounds of it as well! The trainer's word to describe her was 'hyperactive', which is in very stark contrast to Big Ears and my old girl, who love nothing more than doing bugger all and just eating!
