Evening all :)

Tartine joined my family just under 2 weeks ago, and is slowly adjusting to her new home.

What do you think (weight, conformation etc)?

She was bought from the field, and has done very little in three years as she was bought as a brood mare prospect, then the stud farm owner decided to concentrate on larger breeds.

She has gone from being in a rural field 24/7 to being on a busy riding school yard and it has been a bit of a shock for her. We're taking things slowly, and doing a lot of basic handling, ground work and manners work rather than actual schooling at the moment.

I love her and especially her name!! Tartine is French for a slice of bread and butter!!
she does look a bit shell shocked tho!

Gorgeous girl!

Edits to add you probably know Tartine being in France....duh!!

Her registered name is Titine d'Alzen; Titine being a pet or diminutive form of Martine or Clementine etc. No one likes it, and it sounds very like "Titty" when pronounced by English people lol - can't be having that called across the fields!!!

I started calling her Tatty (which was the state I first saw her in!), but it doesn't translate in French, a friend then started calling her Tartine, and it has just stuck.
