New horse owner - what do I actually need?

Photos please!!!!

Don't forget to ask lots of questions about his routine, things he likes/doesn't like/feed/rugs size/farrier cycle etc etc etc. it's only a silly question if you already know the answer!

Oh and now it's celebratory shopping - you need all of the stuff in all of the colours!!!!! Only joking honest!

Good luck with him!

Well, my lovely boy Curly moved into his new home this morning. It all seemed to go well, and he took things in his stride. He’ll be in isolation for two weeks, so a good chance for us to get to know each other before I start riding him. He’s on livery at the riding school I already go to, so a perfect place for a novice owner like me. There's amazing off road hacking, and I can carry on having a weekly lesson with my instructor. I'm so excited to start getting to know him!

And here he is: the gorgeous Curly. The first picture is from two weeks ago, on the day I tried him out, and the second is him today, settling in to his new home.
