im soo excited ive finally found a friend for my girl. ive only had her since august but the poor thing has been on her own the past 6 yrs. innitally i thought she was ok being on her own but shes the type to just sigh and crack on with things, however when i took her over to a local arena she went doo-lally with all the other horses being around and simply wouldnt settle down to work (which is unlike her) and to make matters worse she got very upset when it was time to leave. so new friend is coming tomorrow evening and fingers crossed they like each other

make sure you seperate them lots to start with, otherwise you'll have the problem i did and I then couldn't take one away from the other. Nightmare.

how exciting, two can be a dodgy number, i had two and couldnt seperate the buggers, i now have a third in a miniture form to keep the other company.

I hope it works out for you - but having two didn't for me!

My horses are so clingy to each other, and you can't take one away from the other and you can't leave one at home on it's own ... you may need to get another one ... it's a slippery slope!

well they'll be seperated every day when i go for a hack, so hoping they dont get too clingy lol as i dont have space for a 3rd and i think the OH might get a bit peed off ive got her on a 2 week trial so fingers crossed it all works out
