been to see my (prospective) new horse tonight having her shoes put on - she was a bit naughty - when the fizz and smoke started she lifted her front legs off the ground!!! But she gave in very easily and was fine with the back ones - farrier commented on how good her feet were. She trotted up sound (i think!) and we put her back in the field - hopefully she will be sound now and not foot sore any more - for those who dont know her owner decided in September to leave her barefoot which left her foot sore. Im hoping i can trot and canter her on Thursday and then bring her home on Saturday. Im soooo excited she is such a darling. Her owner is a complet novice and tonight surprised me by saying that the only thing she regretted was not learning to canter!!!! Sorry not a very interesting post but im feeling very happy and optomistic tonight after a few collywobbles about her today! Thanks for listening x
