You know what's majorly annoying? The fact that you can't post pics here that you have WATERMARKED YOURSELF. Even if it's just writing your username across them.

Therefore posting pictures on here means that other people can easily steal them. STUPID rule...

Secondly, posting LINKS to watermarked pictures is surely okay, so long as you are being directed to the photographer's website? I am a pro photographer, and would love people to link back to me, all publicity is good publicity :rolleyes:

I have stopped posting pictures on here full stop, even just ones of my horses running around, because they keep ending up in strange places, and if I do watermark them they just get deleted...

Yes agree completely.

I only ever post crappy photos on here as I watermark my decent ones and they go on Flickr or the other photography sites I use.

In this case I did have permission but couldn't be bothered to explain that when Greylugs launched herself on my neck :D The thing is, as someone said to me this morning, OK, so I misread the rules, I thought it was OK to add a link, I was at fault, hands up to that, but a PM, or a more subtle comment would have been better than the holier-than-thou forum police post from Greylugs which was designed to irritate.

Sorry, I took that off, because on a search, the first thing that came up was the advert (as someone found) and I thought that there was rather too much info on there concerning the seller, even though the ad was in the public domain.
