picked up from ascot sales today....

introducing newtown (gotta think of a stable name i think!)

brought to play with (whilst dennis is off) and hopefully do a bit of eventing with if hes up to it

ah he is lovely. Good luck, i get a bit soppy at the thought of sales, I like to think of everyone of them sold to a lovely home. I hate to think of anyone left at the end of the day. So I'm glad he's going to have a lovely home Soppy me

He raced in France when he was 3,Did you ask the trainer what he's been doing for the last two years? He might have already done some hunting or pointing which would be good!
 
hes lovely- I was at ascot today, and had a look at him- I think you've got a real bargin at £500! I did'nt buy anything- although there were a few I felt sorry for and could of quite happily taken home!
 
it was an impluse buy only went for it in the ring so didnt get a chance to ask.....

puggle .....did u see 102!! that was wat we really wanted it was GORGE!! didnt have like 3k tho hee hee! the trainer of that is who newt went home with he was so nice he was like if he not rite let me know and i can have him in for training for you and get him sold and ill look for the rite horse for u.
 
yeah 102 was lush- but had been pinfired so that put me off a bit. I really liked lot 130 did you see him? lovely big grey horse-no racing form but went for £4500!! lot 143 was also one i would of liked but had a reserve of £3500- i seem to hav a knack of picking th expensive(ish) ones! Im off to have a sit on lot 148 this week so hopefully mite hav a new nag by the weekend.
 
that grey my mum LOVED!! if we were still in quorn country my mum would have got that!! what a fab hunter that would be!! so smart and lovely moving!!

alll the ones we really liked were ££ we also liked lot 135 i think it was or 136 .... big bay p-p loving moving about 16.2 bay. we prob liked all the same lots lol!!
 
yes he was gorgous- serious hunter type! That was the trouble the horses that looked a bit speical really stood out and jacked the prices up! Some looked so bad though I really felt sorry for them. Keep us informed how you get on with your new boy- he looked like a really kind genuine type at the sale. Bet your really excited about him!
