New Horse

My new horse came on wednesday, have given him a few days to settle and lunged him today, he is only 4 and although backed has been turned away over winter. Anyway he was fantastic, has obviously been taught to lunge so well and really tries and wants to please i cant wait to ride him!!!!

Am so excited about him that am struggling to not get straight on! I want his teeth checked before we start with a contact and long reining etc

He is a 4yo mw coloured gelding by Seamus (heavy cob) out of a trakenher mare, 16hh but 16.1hh bum so im praying for that extra inch in front!

He moves really nicely, no knee action but plenty of hock action

I have got lots planned for when he is ready, he has never jumped but i think he will be fine so hopefully some BE and BD next year when we are ready and riding.

I have backed and ridden plenty of young horses for other people but never had the chance to see it through as they are always sold so i cant wait to see how my own gets on!!

Pics will have to wait as i havent quite worked them out yet!!!!
