I don't post in here much, I prefer to lurk!

But I couldn't resist showing off my new horse, she arrives in the next few days!



P.s. Any name suggestions welcome as I'm not keen on her current name!!
 
My lord she is pretty! What are your plans for her? I think that all clipped out she would make a super show cob :)

What is her current name OP? I am always keen on trying to keep the name similar to the existing one :)
 
Thankyou, I plan to clip those feathers off, not sure about hogging will have to see. Hopefully lots of local shows maybe some low level BE next year and a bit of hunting. After having a hell of a few years with a monster of a horse I'm looking forward to be able to hack out without fearing for my life (it's the small things! Lol)
 
She's a fine looking horse- quite jealous! I like puzzle for a coloured but i'm another who never changes a name( even if it's REALLY awful)
 
Really stunning and looks to be show quality. She has a very very pretty head! Yup, I would have those feathers off too - looks like she could make a really nice working cob as well. Enjoy!
 
She's an absolute smasher! Where did you get her from?

Why not wait until she settles in and then see how responsive she is to her name. To be honest I wouldn't change it on her, if she's had it all her life and knows it.
 
Gorgeous. I'd hogg, I know she's plaited in the photo but that's more or less how she'd look without a mane and she's stunning!
I like what another poster has suggested, Rowan!
 
What a lovely mare. I actually like Roses. I think it really suits her. But you have other similar sounding names such as Rhoda, Rhonda, Rowan, Rolanda...
 
Wow, what a stunning girl. I'm soooo jealous, she's certainly a head turner. I'll return if I can suggest anything suitable as to a new name for her. Well done qwerty :D
 
What a smashing looking girl, pretty head. I wish you all the best with her. That old saying about a good cob came to mind too, I am sure this isn't quite right, but something along these lines "head of a maid, arse of a cook, manners of a Lady"

As for names, the right one will come to you if you decide to change it, but how about Rosa?

The name that popped into my head when I saw her photo was Hetty, heaven knows why.
