Hey folks,
Having abit of a crisis...
Used to ride when I was younger was never able to get my own pony as parents could never have afforded it. So when daughter showed an interest I jumped at the chance ect ect now been pony owners for a few years.
Daughter is member of pony club and as we didn't know if it would be a passing phase or a long term hobby I refused to buy a decent (ifor) trailer as bought new pony and brand new saddle set us back £2500. Think if i'd asked for an Ifor at same time I'd have been told where to shove it!
Sooo.... bought old trailer, hubby put a new floor in, checked brakes ect gave her a lick of paint bobs your uncle pony transport! Only problem is I passed my test 6 months after the laws changed about trailers! (dratt!) So when ever we're going anywhere we all have to go, it's like the freaking clampits day out! So I've been asking and moaning and asking about a 3.5t van. Hubby is very car minded and his best friend is a panel beating fabricator type person, for example he makes roll cages for my hubby's track cars and welds for a living.
Turns out hubby has asked mate if he'll help him out with pony van and is actually away to see a van at the weekend! waaayyyyheeyyyy!
The crisis is this, I am actually desperado for my own wee mount at the moment! One of the girls at the yard kindly lets me have a little hack out ect on her horse but really want my own. Like REALLLLLY want my own. So put it to hubby and he's said........
You've got till saturday to make up your mind, I'll either spend the money on your ponyvan or you can have the money for horse but do with out the van. One or the other, can't have both.
What would you do?
(Sorry for long post! Thanks for reading!! x)
