Hello!!
I'm 16yrs old and ride daily and hunt as often as possible, and I've just been asked to ride a horse in a local point to point, but I've never even sat in a racing saddle before!!!
Any advice for a total newbie? What do you do at the start and finish? Is there even a starting gate at a local p-t-p and if so what does one do?!?
Any advice for when I'm actually riding the horse ie. Pacing, fences, position, etc?
Words of wisdom sorely needed and much appreciated!!!
