I've ordered the Champion Revolve Ventair MIPS jockey helmet which is £210, what I actually received was the Champion Revolve X-Air MIPS JUNIOR jockey helmet. They have the same write up & standards - essentially the same hat BUT the junior at £150 is a fair bit cheaper! So if the the junior is the same & obviously what I've received, I could have a £60 refund to make up the difference in price instead of returning?

Is there actually any physical difference between the junior & adult helmets except from junior is VAT free? Looking at the photos the junior seems a bit 'taller' in profile?

Or is there something I'm missing?

I know it's probably been done by mistake but has got me thinking!

I'm pretty sure the only difference is the VAT although £210 minus the VAT would be a lot more than £150.

It's the same safety standard for both at least and that's the important thing. No idea if the shape's any different but if the junior fits, there's no reason not to have it just because you're an adult. Unfortunately my head is enormous so no junior sizes for me!

Do the junior sizes go that big? I'm a 57/58 too and have never found junior ones that big. I'd buy them if I could.

Sometimes the depth can be different and I know the CO junior jockey skulls were a different shape (which would suit some adults better anyway) and went up to a size 4.
But if it fits the same it's just the vat.

Fit, shape, quality, VAT, straps etc. I know of some kids hats which are the same as the adult sizes, but standards are different.

I have a size 61 junior skull cap, the only difference is that the junior one has thelwell ponies on the lining which I consider a bonus!
