I am getting rid of two pairs of jodpurs as they wont stay up and wander down as I walk Whoops indecency, can you recommend some nice grippy jodpurs to sit on my big bouncy girl. I do have a sheepskin/gel seat saver by the way. Any recommendations???? thanx

The Caldene Belgrade ones LOOK nice, and feel nice for the first half-hour in the saddle. Then by god they make their presence felt in the most undesirable region; a blimmin shame they've put this stooopid ridged seam just where you don't need it!

I e-bayed my pair I had........ glad to be rid!

Just warning you in case you're tempted by these......

Sorry don't have any recommendation - other than a Acavello sticky/gel-out pad. Don't be tempted by a Heather Moffett seat-saver though, they move around like a fly on a turd and if it rains when you're riding on top of one of them you might as well go sit in a puddle. Awful things.

I like fake suede / clarino seat breeches. Had a been riding in these for several months and had a nasty surprise when I went to a show so wore my white jodhs - I felt like I was sliding all over the place as they were just cotton!

I find that with my Acavello Gel out seat saver it doesn't matter what breeches/jodhs I wear. This seat saver has literally saved my butt a few times recently. My boy does a lovely line in faster than light sideways spooks which used to get me off. Since I started using the Acavello I stay on. No need for sticky bum breeches :) It's very comfy too, dressage legal and I use it for jumping and XC too.
