Anyone else appalled at the thought of embarrassing their equine friends by turning up at an event in a pink, sparkly box? My boys would refuse to load! A bit of bling is OK in the right places, but I do think this is a step too far!!

Who cares? and is this another attempt to carry on the 'We Hate KP' campaign?

It is getting VERY boring.

Pink, blue, yellow, whatever. Who are we to say when someone buys something in a colour we don't like?

If I wanted a pink one I would go get a pink one, but I have no reason to buy one right this minute as my trailer and truck do the job for me and if someone offered me a lift in one for me and my horse, I wouldn't turn it down, I don't give a chuff about the opinions of others!

I would be quite happy in one to get to a show, i dont have transport so ill take whatevers on offer, ok i wouldnt go out and buy one. But if somebody offered me a lift or to use one, its a lift to the show what ever colours on the outside i dont care!!!!

There was a thread the other day on this new range of horse boxes, along with many others about KP.
I have to say I am finding it really boring now and KP bashing seems to becoming an obsession on H&H forum.
Thanksfully many are now losing interest and hopefully these threads will drop off and KP will be no more on here! x

Hi guys - sorry - new to the forum - didn't realise that there were so many other KP bashing threads, that wasn't even my intention - think I'll give up now and leave the forum - you guys obviously aren't so tolerant of newbies who haven't been on here or read as many threads as you have.

I was really looking forward to what I thought was a nice friendly horsey online community, now I just can't be bothered - thanks for putting me off - won't be coming back.

Regardless of who they are by, I'm not keen on them. Particularly the trail trekka. It just looks like they have added a few coloured bits on and charged an extra £855 + vat for the priviledge.

Precisely! Those that jump in a say that they "wouldnt be seen in one" etc....spare a thought for those with no transport! Had a trailer when i had a horse that wouldnt load....now have 2 horses that would ride bikes from a to b if asked them too....but no transport.
So i would be gratefull for transport in anything.....even if it is bright pink, sparkly and has "Im katie prices biggest fan" written down the side in big letters! (fwiw.....im not her biggest fan!)

Dont leave the forum.....its a great source of information....there are people on here with a wealth of knowledge.....just dont mention the words "Katie Price" It seems to bring out the worst in some people!

I would take one if they were giving them away - beggers cant be choosers :D

If I had the money to buy one, they would not be first on my list - but then I wouldnt be a begger then :D

I am without transport at the moment, but even if i did have transport, i would still happily use one, who cares what the colour is or anything else about it.
If the lorry is safe and the horses travel in it well, does it really matter what colour who endorses it.

I cant understand why people have to be so nasty on here.
Some of you have been quite thoughtless in your answers to this person.
As she said, she is a Newbie and hasnt read the reems and reems of stuff that has been written about KP.

Because wherever you look, even on other forums, it's 'We Hate KP'.....it has gotten sooooo boring that I'm afraid it WILL bring out a response in those who are just fed-up with the jealousy. And yes....THAT is what it boils down to.....

So on here on on another forum....it always seems the same... ~sigh~

It wasnt the subject that I was getting at really. It was the fact that people were posting thoughtless replies.
Praiseyponies was a newbie, nobody actually welcomed her to the forum. He/she wasnt to know how much drivel has been posted about KP.
Once upon a time, newbies were welcomed to the forum, not driven off with thoughtless remarks.
This makes me very sad.

I would just like to say, for the record, I never used to dislike this woman, in fact, I disliked her, read her biography, changed my mind, she went on I'm a celebrity, married Peter Andre, treated him shockingly, on TV, reckons to be some horse expert, with her "dressage demonstations" more, "look at me bob about on a horse wot does dressage" lives her entire life in the public eye, you have to admire the womans business accumen, and her barefaced cheek, but I don't like her anymore. I don't hate her....She is not worth the energy!!:D

And just so it's been said, welcome Praisyponies, I must say though, and I visit many, not just horse related, this is not the frienliest forums I have ever visited

The problem we are having is that post after post over KP tends to be nothing but bitchy. Not from me, hats off to the woman, now, I COULD be guilty of not looking at how many posts the OP had listed, but tell me....does everyone automatically check to see 'oh....before I reply I better see if this person is a newbie, sports horse...blah blah blah...'....but am I the only one? I bet I'm not!

You could argue that a new poster could have written 'It's my first time here etc..'...but the counter-arguement could be (and quite rightly) do people have to justify what they post? In some instances, then certainly not.

I believe that the OP got caught in the wake of the 'Thread Now Moved To SB Forum', and yes, that is sad, however, I am of the general concensus that the majority of horse people I speak to hate KP and like others, it gets US on the defensive!

I am sorry that the OP got caught in the cross-fire, but not sorry for sticking by my opinions!

But on EVERY forum you need to grow a thick skin pretty quick I'm afraid!

Could I just say a quick thanks to all the posters who have been nice - I'm thinking twice about leaving now. I just popped back in before logging off today and it was really a nice surprise to see more posts and some of them are really encouraging - you've (almost) restored my faith in chatting to everyone - I'll go and have a bit more of a think now.

I do realise (I'm on a couple of other forums as well) that you occasionally need a thick skin, I just hadn't expected to need it immediately and I was quite taken aback by the initial responses.

Not everyone on a forum is nasty. I honestly don't know what is wrong with KP, although I do live in an other country, so that might be it. Hahaha!

Stay of the forum, you get plenty of advice and people can be nice. You just have to squeeze your way into the community.
