New Lad Update - the horse with a broken leg...

...he was ridden today

The leg has healed. Finally. At long last.

Apparently the break was a millimetre off going all the way through . If we had known that...

To add to the fun, he has a box foot, which has suffered through the bad tendon, then the broken leg. So, that's another thing to get through, but the farrier has said NL can be ridden in the meantime

Today I was so very proud to lead Friend on New Lad gently round the school

Friend and her family have all worked so hard with this lad. Not many people would have given him the chance!

He was farily new off the track; came off due to a tendon injury, then he cut his side doing something with a fence, then he split his top lip off his skull, then he broke his leg...

It's been an interesting few months

Unashamedly bumping this up as so many people have asked about him that I want many to see Plus I am so very proud of Friend and her unwavering belief in this lad .

One of these days I will see them bombing across Eland cross country

That's really good news and we need it on here! Says a lot about your friend for holding her nerve at the start when it was scary and a lot about how much it helps having an amazing friend like you to prop her up and help her and NL out when they needed it.
