New Land Rover Freedlander, rubbish for towing?

I've got a Freelander 2 and never had any problems with it. I use it for towing and whoever said that it was illegal is talking out of their bottom I'm afraid I've got a 13.2 hh and lightweight trailer and have never had any problems whatsoever.

Why on earth would having a Freelander 2 mean that I want to be a mechanic Blue Rider? I've got a horse but I don't want to be a farrier

But that's the point, you don't have to be a mechanic to repair them.
In fact that was one of the original idea's built into the land rover vision, and the point of the owners clubs that exist all over the world.

But I have no interest whatsoever in fixing cars. Does that mean that I, and thousands of people like me, are not allowed to buy Freelanders

By the way, I also employ a cleaner despite being perfectly capable of pushing a hoover round. My house is thoughtfully equipped with electric sockets, dusters, cleaning fluids etc to enable me to clean up if I want. I simply prefer to pay someone else to do it though. Is that wrong too in your eyes? If you are capable of doing something, does it mean that you have to do it?

My oh is capable of fixing it, we just don't bother, just give it to someone else it's slot less hassle/stress for you lol

I think you will find they will tow 2000kg which is fine for one riding horse in a normal trailer, however you can get a proper
4x4 for the same money so I dont understand why folk seem so keen on them or any of the other small of roaders that are expensive to run and buy , if money is tight far better to get a older solid 4x4 with Minimal deprciation and is up to the job and safe ....

Ha Ha !!!! yes if you have a beard and knit yogurt and are a member.... of the caravan club us mere mortals go on the manufactures recomedation and the law of the land .... but you belive what you want some people believe in all sorts of stange things....
