Why do they need the ears!? It's just a fad and fashion accessory for 99% of horses! At least they have stopped doing the bandages with them!

One of the girls rocked up at work one day with the lime green hat, base layer and tights on ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'm sure it's not called lime green its probably been given a fancy name ๐Ÿ˜‚ but we all took one look at her and ... well yeah! She didn't wear any of that nonsense to work again!

I know many of these horses and riders as well at the photographer. All shot in Cape Town. In SA barefoot is frowned upon and everyone uses the same farriers no matter how bad they are.

Many of the riders pictured at absolutely horrible people. Refuse to buy the brand now.

Whatโ€™s matchy matchy? Iโ€™m lucky if I even find two socks the same length. And I dread whomever has to see my knickers when I fall off and end up in Hospital.
Hahaha
๐Ÿ˜ hilarious

I had to throw my fave pair out on monday as they looked like a rottweiler had eaten them ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Victorias secrets ,,, would never pay ยฃ18 for a pair of knickers myself ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Oh I have to have socks the same height and thickness. Colour doesn't matter though ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ pants never match bra. Though I do always wear those lacey boxers.

i usually agree about the ears, but Lily has some because sheโ€™s such a wussโ€ฆme and my mum refer to them as her โ€œmagic earsโ€ because they trap all the sillies in๐Ÿคฃ

Asking for a friend, where do you get Lacey boxers from?

The neck on the first horse in the photos is really awful, the only thing I could see.

Hopefully the photo will appear with a bit of jiggery pokery!

The mismatched ones ๐Ÿ˜‚

Aka wear your normal clothes to work and have 3 saddle pads you don't even need but ended up with because a nice lady came to my previous yard with loads of stuff to give away and they didn't need em aka me being a hoarder and taking em all ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Am slightly surprised about the barefoot comment- I went on a safari ride and all the horses were barefoot. But maybe itโ€™s different up on the reserves.
Agree the shod feet look very long / high heels.

Anyway Iโ€™m an accidental Lemieux convert as mr Reacher bought me a base layer for my birthday in mulberry and retired mare has a head collar in mulberry so we are sort of match matchy ๐Ÿ˜‚

I like the sleeveless polo tops got a few of those and I have some lovely grey denim breeches all bought in the sale half price, I've got 2 of the satin look jackets which I really like and I've got 1 head collar as well but I don't buy the saddle pads mine prefer sheep or wool and.

I am not keen on lace undies bit scratchy and the less material the better so my go to are g strings๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

In the reserves they struggle with decent farriers if a farrier at all. So the grooms do the horses mostly.

I know the human species is as wide and varied as one could imagine, it takes all sorts of people to make up this beautiful rainbow of human society and we are all special and wonderful in our own ways but this is deviancy of the highest order and I won't accept it

So for people who don't do le mew what matchy matchy sets do you go for?

I love Mattes, they don't really do seasonal colours, just a few pads with a fancy trim every 6 months, but otherwise a huge range of colours and finishes (cotton, a sheen finish and velvet), massive choice of piping, bindings and sheepskin so you can have exactly what you want. Seems much more sustainable than LM, and made in Europe.

In the reserves they struggle with decent farriers if a farrier at all. So the grooms do the horses mostly.

If any are barefoot the miles they do will help too, self trimming a la Rockley Farm.
