New Lister Liberty Lithium

Has anyone else got these yet?
Treated myself as fancied new smaller battery & shorter charge time.....arrived today & only have a canvas carry case - no plastic protective box as in previous (& all other clippers I’ve ever seen)!!
The new battery is too wide for the old case to shut properly....grr! I’ve sold my old ones but if I could fit the new ones in the old case I would!
Does anyone know if I was supposed to get the hard case or is this how they’re being supplied now....I don’t like it as I’m sure my blades will get mixed up & clippers damaged in the boot of my car

I have no idea if you should get a case with them, you could email the company and ask, in the meantime you could buy a cheap plastic box with a lid to store them in to protect them.

I rang Lister; they say there are no plans to supply the hard case or even make one available to buy as an extra
I'm going to try to fit them into the box from my old clippers - the trouble is, the battery although smaller in size, is deeper so the box doesn't close properly. Grr.

Try Aldi or hardware stores. There are lots of plastic carry boxes available. I use one for my small clippers,charger and blades.
Take the clippers with you(clean!) or measure them beforehand.

if you are anywhere near me i have got an old lister showman box which is about 4 inches deep, if its any good , you are welcome to it. its just gathering dust , i am in suffolk near haverhill. let me know

the lidl one is deeper than my case so maybe go for that? if not i could do something about posting next week

Update: I have had the lot out and managed to fit everything bar a couple of sets of blades, into the old case so I’ll manage with that I think - thank you all for your suggestion which I’ll bear in mind if it doesn’t work once I start clipping!
