Hi Chaps - Im a very happy girl today, My wonderful Hublet as bought me a lorry (upgrade from trailer - must get the advert written....). Question I would like to ask is who do you all insure with.
Thanks
Just looked at him funnily enough. With there recovery do they rescue the horse as well as the vehicle and where do they take the horse (nearest yard or back home?) Thanks
Insured with Anthony D Evans as they were the cheapest, rescue with Equine Rescue Services as they offer home start and transport the horses separately if I were to break down, not on my lorry on a low loader at an angle! They are expensive but of course I could justify this as the insurance was cheap!
I insure mine with KBIS, just renewed and paid £212 for year, comprehensive, for a £4k Leyland Roadrunner, F reg. Anthony D Evans quoted about £8 less but I'd prefer to stay with KBIS.
Im paying £360 with full breakdown cover with NFU for any driver over 25. This was for a 7.5t valued at £10k but recently doubled the value as now on an newer chassis and the premium stayed the same.
