Went to get her. She seems to know our car already and came up when we stopped to let D1 out to go and get her. When we came back with the trailer she got very excited and loaded herself :D:D:D. Apparently, if she likes a person, she'll go with them, but she's very fussy about who she likes :rolleyes:. Good job she likes D1 as she's a powerful horse :D

So, she's in a wee paddock with our neds next to her. LL was whickering like mad and Dizzy was showing some beautiful elevation in her paces lol :p:D. LC was very important and showing his manly side lol :D

I've told D1 she has to wait 'till Saturday, when I'm around, to ride. Bad and mean Mummy lol

Congratulations! to you and to D1. We always give ours a few days to settle in before we ride anyway - it just gives them time to know where they are fed, in case of rider and horse parting company, they are more likely to go home than p*ss off. (Actually I think they will go back to the herd).

I thought we got some piccies, but cant find the camera!
Here's some we grot fom when they tried each other out the other week :D

She was a bit fresh :D :D :D

Have lots of fun with that lovely lady D1 - sounds like a good bond already established - love the way you put about LC showing his manly side hee hee!!!

She's gorgeous!

Can I just ask, what breed is she down as? My SIL has just got a mare who looks the spitting image of yours and is down as an ID but people on the yard are saying they don't think she is.

Thank you very much :D

She's a hoot :D. D1 is smitten :D. Saddle fitting on Saturday :D :D

I don't think m'poor Dizz will get a look-in lol, but that's probably as it should be :) :). I know D1 loves Dizz and will keep helping to look after her. She has a lesson booked on Dizz on Saturday, and is taking her for a hack on Sunday, so all is good :D. She'll ride Dizz three times a week and Grey Mare five times a week :D

I don't think she'll grey out anytime soon, though she was black at birth :D, she's over ten now :D

She seems thoroughly taken with D1! Gets all excited when she sees our car!

Where are the piccies though MrsM? I honestly thought your last post was going to have one included. You know how nosey we all are!

Sounds like D1 will be very busy this winter with both of them to ride :)

Can't remember her name :rolleyes:, got so used to calling her Grey Mare now lol:rolleyes::D

Oh dear. This is like me. My riding instructor was talking about my horse on Weds and had no idea what his name was other than brown horse. Everyone calls the youngster Nitty as well. Do you think it's a disease of some sort having to give everything a literal name?

Her name is Swift and his is Bradley in case I forget and need to be reminded in future.
