has this colour gone out of fashion???
Friend is having the most horrendous time finding anything!! She is a bit fanickity and likes everything to match!! Any ideas on open fronted sheepskin lined tendon and fetlock boots????
Has anyone else got this colour and care to post me a pic??

I find newmarket/ london tan tack hard to get as well. In North America it's a more popular color so when I go to Montreal this summer to see my family, I'm going to stock up on all the bits and bobs i'm looking for here (namely newmarket colored fulmer loops!!). You may find more items on the US Ebay than the UK one.

I've got a Crosby saddle in Newmarket tan though it's a lot darker now after years of being saddlesoaped!

I've also got a 'Caramel' coloured bridle made by Pariani which I bought at a show. The breastplate alone was going to be £150 - so bought one of a similar colour, but not so posh of ebay for £20!!! Bargain!

My saddle is this colour - but like someone said years of cleaning it - it has darkened somewhat. My bridle is a Barnsby - their tan colour is a bit richer than others though - more honey coloured. I also have a devoucoux breastplate in this colour so assume they also do bridlework in this colour too - depending on how much your friend wants to spend. I have seen tan coloured tendon boot around (including on a stall at Bramham) but I'm afraid I don't know what brand they were but at least there are some out there. I use Eskadrons and they come in a variety of colours so I'd bet they'd do tan and do do a fleece version - unless she wants leather?

Newmarket/London Tan seems to be making a bit of a comeback but is still more difficult to find. IMO it appears to be the manufacturers at the higher end of the market that offer this colour. It is a very traditional colour and in that respect I think was seen as old fashioned. There is still a huge market for it in the States though.

Nearly all of my tack is tan but have to say have had it all made for me to get exactly what I want.
