came home today with a 5yo Chi, cream coloured & really sweet.

OH hates Chi's with a passion & calls them rats on strings but im hoping he comes around (although judging by his FB status that could take a while)

If they are treated like dogs and not handbags chis are actually really gutsy little dogs with huge personalities. I had one who was a great guard, he would sit on the foot of my bed and growl at anyone who came near me.

OOps think that one will cost you big time and even if it wins him over in the house don't expect him to take the little one walkies!! And I'd lay off buying any hoodies or pink diamanté collars for a while at least!!

I looked at having a Chi before I had my first JRT, we thought the JRT would be more robust as it would have to run with 6 big dogs

she will NOT be a handbag dog! got 4 legs and gonig to be using them, we had Chi's when i was at home & always love them, not met one yet with no personality.
