I'm mulling over the idea of getting the new model VSD from Wintec as they now do them with point straps and I've heard that Wintec have redesigned the tree so it is flatter?
I know the old Wintecs (I used to have the dressage and the close contact ones) had too rounded a shape panel for Hattie and they rocked (despite her being a TB) but this new VSD, looks flatter but still has wither clearance:

If the tree is indeed flatter than the old models and paired up with the point straps, could be the answer to Hattie's fitting problems. I wouldn't get the Cair but the flocked version.
Does anyone have any experience with the new model Wintecs and if so, what sort of conformation does your horse have?
